I guess anyone that test the game can use this thread to post suggestions and their impressions on the beta.
I liked it, the battle system isn't anything amazing. The lag is kinda harsh. I have a server you can use temporarily which may fix that issue if needed. Other than that its fun, couldn't find any quests though and only saw about 4 or 5 maps in the outside area.
Ideas:
-Change the control scheme to be able to pick up items using the space bar instead of the enter key.
-Allow NPC's to drop items as well as gold.
-Coal chestplates should drop from Frost or earth spirits instead of bats.
-A lot of the NPCs are Imbalanced. Some are way to weak, and some are way to strong.
-Potions don't heal enough HP.
-Enemies in the spore cave should be weaker, have a slower respawn, and be agressive
Bugs:
-Rarely clicking the "Return" button at the item buy screen would cause my client to go into the background. (I.E. My firefox window overlapped it.)
-Death penalty is no good, I found that I could just fight earthen spirits, die, and come right back to finish them off. There was no penalty as far as I could tell.
-Lag was kinda bad, which I saw someone run through the same area as me, they were jumping a few spaces at a time.
-Abilities would not work for me. When I tried to cast restoration, all I got was a blank text message in the chat box.
-Other abilities such as slash and whirlwind had no visible effect.
-No paperdoll gfx for Armor (Coal armor and leggings)
-With lag and constant clicking on a skill up button, its possible to have -1 skill points and an extra skill point on an attribute.
-Items do not show their attribute bonus.
I have to go sleep now, but it was fun, keep up the good work. And let me know if you would like to use my server as a host.
